QJMOTOR steelt de show bij de Chinezen op de EICMA. Nadat we eerder al een resem aan interessante producten van CFMOTO en Italo-Chinezen Benelli en Moto Morini gepresenteerd kregen, veegt QJ Motor alles onder tafel met de SRK 1000 en SRK 1000 RR. Dit zijn de eerste echte grote motoren uit China die meespelen in de klasse van de vlaggenschepen op Europees en Japans niveau.
–Update- Vreemd genoeg bereikt de info over deze SRK 1000 ons enkel via een Italiaans persbureau, terwijl de Benelux importeur enkel communiceert over 900 modellen met een 921cc motorblok en eveneens 163pk. We gokken dat er een interne communicatiefout is en wachten op meer nieuws.

De foto in de hoofding en de foto’s onderaan gaan over een SRK 1000 en SRK 1000 RR, maar vermoedelijk mogen we ons eerst verwachten aan een QJMOTOR 900 in supersport en nakedbike trim. Wie goed kijkt, ziet dat er een hoop stylingcue’s overgenomen werden van MV Agusta en het zou ons niets verbazen als het 921cc motorblok dan ook een Chinese kopie is van de 921cc motor uit Varese. Zolang er geen MV Agusta prijskaartje aan hangt, zou dit dus wel eens een Chinese geheimtip kunnen worden…
Nadat we de voorbije jaren voornamelijk een elektrische en Chinese trend zagen op de EICMA, mogen we anno 2024 stellen dat die opnieuw is omgeslagen naar veel nieuws bij de traditionele merken, maar ook ’traditionele’ verbrandingsmotoren bij de Chinezen. QJMOTOR hoort daar bij als dochterbedrijf van de Geely Group en ze pakken dus uit met een dikke 921cc supernaked. De motoren zijn uitgerust met een viercilinder in lijn, draait 13.600 toeren en beschikt over uitrusting van Brembo en Marzocchi. In het 5,5″ TFT scherm zit ongetwijfeld nog wat elektronica verstopt, al is het vooraleerst wachten op meer nieuws van de Benelux importeur…en op een prijskaartje.

QJMOTOR’s new naked is equipped with a 921-cc liquid-cooled in-line four-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 163 hp/13600 rpm (120 kW) and a maximum torque of 90 Nm/11000 rpm, for a strong and smooth output. The bike features Marzocchi adjustable inverted forks, centre-mounted multi-link rear suspension and a Brembo braking system with front 320 mm double discs and rear 260 mm single discs, complemented by ABS and TCS systems for excellent braking performance and safety. The 835 mm seat height, 1,425 mm wheelbase, and ergonomic design ensure a comfortable riding experience, while luxury features such as the 5.5-inch TFT dashboard, tyre pressure monitoring and cruise control, make it an eye-catching motorbike. |
