XTR Pepo heeft een R100R gebouwd om duimen en vingers bij af te likken.
Mocht je de naam XTR Pepo nog niet kennen, dan gaat er misschien een belletje rinkelen wanneer we vertellen dat het gaat om Pepo Rosell, oftewel de man die eerder achter Radical Ducati zat. Nadat hij Radical verkocht in 2014, nam Pepo een sabbatjaar, maar nu is hij dus terug in volle actie onder de naam XTRPepo.
Zijn laatste creatie is trouwens niet van de minste, want ‘Don Luis’ – een BMW R100R uit 1992 – is opnieuw een extreme classic endurance racer zoals we al vaker bij Radical Ducati zagen. Dit keer was de basis van Duitse afkomst, al vinden we onderdelen terug van over heel de wereld. Vooraan kon Pepo het niet laten om wat Ducati onderdelen te monteren, de koppeling is dan weer van een GSX-R600 en onder andere Derbi, Moto Guzzi, Montesa en Yamaha behoren tot de andere onderdelenleveranciers.
